A man is this week awaiting results from the Clanfield Clinic for People with Excess Wealth that will decide whether he will be the first person in the world to undergo a revolutionary new procedure.

Mr Ralph Lobber, a resident of the area, astounded medical experts recently when his daughter-in-law gave birth to a conjoined grandson. Conjoined twins, usually born simultaneously, are a fairly familiar sight nowadays. This is the first known case of the phenomenon skipping generational boundaries.

Dr Julian Wide-Liver, of the Clanfield Clinic, was astounded to hear of the case. "I have heard rumours of conjoined children and even the occasional domestic pet" he explained, "but this is truly unprecedented."

If the test results are positive, Mr Lobber will undergo a series of operations to separate him from his grandson. The procedure should be complete by October.
